Croquet is an outdoor recreational sport that combines physical activity with tactical thinking to play a shot. And because croquet is played in groups, our croquet club is a very social place where members regularly get together for companionship. This makes croquet the perfect sport for encouraging older Queenslanders to live active, healthy and socially connected lifestyles while, at the same time, improving their physical and mental wellbeing. The Seniors Day event at the Southport Croquet Club is designed to introduce older Queenslanders to the benefits of playing croquet and socialising at our club. So come along have fun at our beautiful venue, learn basic skills from qualified coaches, equipment will be supplied as well as morning tea and lunch.
