Join Chanelle Moar and Heidi Jones from Health Consumers Queensland, the peak organisation representing the interests of health consumers and carers in Queensland. Hosted live from Ipswich Central Library and shared state-wide via Zoom, this free, fun, user-friendly and interactive information session is for people caring for a loved one in the community.

Combining Get Online Week with Carers Week, Health Consumers Queensland aim to take the fear factor out of online connections and help you find important health information and services. Join this Q&A session and hear from other carers who will share their experiences, tips and answer your questions.

This session will focus on:

  • How to access helpful health information and resources
  • Easy online tools to connect with others
  • Understanding your basic healthcare rights
  • A live Q&A with the event hosts
  • How your shared experiences with the health system can help influence change and improve services for all Queenslanders.

Questions about getting online can be submitted to the hosts ahead of the session via email at info@hcq.org.au
