Clifton Country Week Festival
This beloved event, now in its twenty-sixth year, unfolds over an entire week as a vibrant carnival filled with daily festivities that bring the community together in joyful celebration.
Art lovers can immerse themselves in a thoughtfully curated exhibition showcasing local talent, while motor enthusiasts will delight in the dazzling display of classic and custom vehicles at the Car and Bike Show ‘n’ Shine. Children are invited to embark on a whimsical treasure hunt, and creativity takes center stage as families decorate scooters, bikes, and prams, while seniors join in the fun by adorning their mobility scooters, wheelie walkers, or walking sticks with flair and personality.
The excitement continues with a community-wide Garage Sale Trail stretching between Clifton and Nobby, where hidden treasures await discovery. Traditional delights are served at the QCWA’s Devonshire Teas, accompanied by a Cent Sale that adds a touch of friendly competition. Social gatherings abound with Lions Bingo and barefoot bowls, while music lovers are treated to a stirring performance by the Warwick Choral Society.
As the week draws to a close, the energy rises with a lively Bush Dance featuring the spirited Ridgee Didge Bush Band, culminating in the grand finale, the Clifton Race Day.
