The Human Book

Description:

description

Lockyer Valley Libraries presents “The Human Book”. The Human Books Event will involve people from our region sharing their life stories with others in the comfort of the library. These “books” will foster the spirit of social connection and will be from diverse backgrounds, including a drag queen, a First Nations person and a person who has been involved in a variety of cultural exchanges. The Human Books will share their stories to the group and allow attendees and the “books” to connect and create a sense of identity and belonging. Attendees will be able to ask questions of the “books” to gain a better understanding of their life.
