Intergenerational Bird Walk

Celebrating the intergenerational sharing of knowledge and love for birds!

Led by Prof. Hugh Possingham, Queensland’s Chief Scientist and President of Friends of Oxley Creek Common, departing from the Red Shed, Oxley Creek Common. The walk is a leisurely, flat stroll to Pelican Lagoon – approx. 2.5 hours.  Bring enclosed shoes, water, binoculars and/or camera.

Hugh can offer tips on bird identification, planting bird friendly gardens, and how to join in to help protect Brisbane’s important bird habitats. Come along for a great morning with the birds!
