A free crafty afternoon for self-care
As part of Queensland Mental Health Week (QMHW) Everybody NOW! is hosting a day of community connection through creativity and learning called Creative and Connected.
As part of two special events, we invite you to join us for a free crafty afternoon with Tal Fitzpatrick or come early and build your skills and knowledge at this free mental health and wellbeing workshop with the amazing Aimee from Hey Mate.
STITCHED TOGETHER
Drop in, slow down and get stitching on your very own positivity patch with local artist and craftivist Tal Fitzpatrick.
Whether it’s the meditative process of simple embroidery, or the chance to stab something hundreds of times with a needle, Tal promises a crafty afternoon stitched together with good company and good vibes for all folks, all genders, all abilities.
As part of the event we’ll also be screening the premiere of our new music video clip for Gonna Fit from Roller Coaster starring a bunch of legendary skaters from South East Queensland.
Come hang out with the Everybody NOW! community and enjoy a gentle exhale, a moment to pause, have chats and eat snacks!
Free Event. Drops in welcome but registrations appreciated.
This event is supported 2024 Queensland Mental Health Week Community Events Grant Program
