Seniors Month – Diwali Festival of Lights in Cooktown

Diwali Festival of Lights is on this date.

The plan is to have three and a half hours of 6 Indian themed workshops that the participants can be a part of and have something to take home these include chakra bracelet making, wind chimes, diamond art, candles, diwali pots and henna.

We will also serve morning tea and lunch during this time.

The following night we will have an Indian themed dinner where they could wear some of the craft they have created, with belly dancing entertainment where the dancers will encourage participants to have a go.
