Senior Science: Lab Experience

If you’ve ever dreamt of being a scientist, join us at QIMR Berghofer for a special Queensland Senior’s Month event where you get to be the one donning the lab coat!
Over 2.5 hours in our world-renowned medical research institute, you’ll:
– conduct hands-on experiments in the lab under the guidance of our scientists
– hear from our researchers about their latest breakthroughs in the areas of cancer, dementia, heart disease and more
– tour our working labs and see our state-of-the-art facilities, usually closed to the general public
– enjoy tea, coffee and a snack.
