In Conversation with Holly Ringland

04/10 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Free

Artist: Holly Ringland

When best-selling author Holly Ringland was approached to write a poem in response to Morag Myerscough’s BEACON installation it was a full circle moment. ‘With a Light Left On’ is a phrase that many fans will recognise from Holly’s popular Substack series, The Joy Rise, and her 2023 book on creativity and courage, The House That Joy Built. A new poem of the same title has now been arranged in an uplifting song to be performed at BLEACH Festival.

Join us for an insightful conversation about collaboration, creative synchronicities and why ‘With a Light Left On’ is such a powerful beacon for hope and connection, with Auslan Interpretation by FAB Interpreting.

Following this event, the Deaf and hard of hearing community are invited to join James Kerwin and FAB Interpreting for an Auslan -interpreted guided tour of the BEACON installation.

Sunday 4 October, 9:00am.
