Good Afternoon All,
In Honor of “Queensland Seniors Month,” we are delighted to extend an invitation to our afternoon tea event, hosted by Braking the Cycle PCYC Ashmore. This occasion not only serves as a celebration of this significant month but also as an opportunity for anyone interested in contributing as a Volunteer Mentor Driver for our Braking the Cycle program in any of our Gold Coast locations – Ashmore, Broadbeach Waters & Nerang.
PCYC Braking the Cycle (BTC) is our volunteer driver mentor program designed to support learner drivers without access to a supervisor or registered vehicle to complete their logbook hours. The aim of the program is to provide young people with increased employment opportunities, community connection and driver education.
This gathering will also feature our current mentors, who will graciously share their invaluable experiences. We warmly extend an invitation to community members who are passionate about making a difference to consider joining our Braking The Cycle program as volunteer mentor drivers. By participating, you can play a pivotal role in supporting young people on their journey to becoming proficient drivers, thus contributing to their future success and well-being.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a BTC Mentor Induction, please join us on Wednesday 23rd October at 2.30pm.
RSVP will be highly appreciated by Wednesday 9th October 2024.
Thanking You
Regards
Kate Healy
