The Far North Queensland Law Association (FNQLA) will be holding a free event for seniors and their families, called Free Seniors Estate Planning & Elder Abuse Information Session, on Tuesday, 22 October 2024 at a function room at Cazalys Cairns, at 344 Mulgrave Road, Westcourt, from 9am to 10am, with a free morning tea to follow.
The event will comprise of local Cairns lawyers volunteering their time to present and speak with seniors and their families, during Seniors Month of October, about important estate planning matters, such as Wills & Enduring Powers of Attorney and elder abuse.
A representative from the Cairns Community Legal Centre will also be presenting on scams, to keep seniors aware and safe.
Registration is essential.
